The easiest way to stop yourself from blogging

The absolute easiest way to stop yourself from blogging is to read too many ‘how to write a good blog’ articles.

Blogging tips is nice, especially when you’re new in the game, so don’t get me wrong on that.

But if you read too many of these tips, and care too much about them, you start to believe that there’s rules, that there’s a right way and a wrong way to blog.

When you read blogging tips you should always have in the back of your head that most of them are written for pro-bloggers. These are bloggers who need to care about their page-rank, how to gain a lot of traffic and readers. The pro-bloggers is trying to make a living out of their blog, a thing they can’t do if they only have two visitors.

But for everyone else; if you think too much about the “hows” and “whats” instead of just writing your blog, you’ll never get the hang of it.

Actually all these blogging tips boils down to five things:

  1. Blog about something you’re passionate about
  2. Give your post a describing title
  3. Think like a man and start your post with the point
  4. Check your spelling and grammar before publishing
  5. Link to blogs and articles you find interesting and related to your content

And remember all great blogs out there started from nothing, just like yours. If it destined to be a great blog with a lot of visitors; in time, it will be.

And if it isn’t; does it matter?
